R. Evon Idahosa is the founder of Pathfinders Justice Initiative (PJI) and currently serves as Executive Director.  PJI is an NGO dedicated to seeking justice for female survivors of child sex abuse, sex trafficking, and gender based violence in the developing world.  PJI also provides rehabilitative counseling to perpetrators of sex crimes and provides temporary housing, free legal services, medical care, and counseling to survivors of gender based violence.  Prior to founding PJI, she practiced law in New York for over a decade in the area of ethics and professional responsibility, insurance defense, and directors liability.  Now, she focuses her efforts on activism and speaks frequently on topics of child sex abuse, sex trafficking, and gender based violence in the developing world.
